Quickly slide the bill through the
top of the device from left to right.
If the alarm sounds, say to the customer, “One moment
please, I have to examine this bill more closely.” Then
examine the security features of the bill under the
UV light, comparing it to a bill that you know is real.
You can explain to the customer, ”This may be a good
bill, but the scanner sounded the alarm. Would you mind
giving me another bill?”
If the alarm does not sound, simply look over the bill
checking for obvious color or texture differences. If
everything seems fine, accept the bill.
