alarm uses state-of-the-art sensors to instantly detect
counterfeit bills when they are passed through the unit.
When a counterfeit bill is passed through the device,
an alarm sounds. This technology allows your staff to
quickly check all bills.
With the Model 200 unit, there is no need for your staff
to manually inspect every bill. If the clerk is skeptical
of a bill, he can always manually check the security features
with the built in UV lamp.
US and Canadian currencies use cotton-fiber paper that
absorbs UV light while counterfeit bills tend to be made
of cellulose fibers which reflects UV light. When a counterfeit
bill is passed through the Countercheck Model 200, the
reflected UV light is detected by the sensor, and the
alarm sounds.
