The Next Generation of Counterfeit Detector:

Special paints, which are used when printing banknotes and value documents, have certain physical and chemical properties that cause them to react differently in the presence of IR light. Picture or text printed by those special paints look the same under normal light, however they project differently under IR. These are the security areas which are viewable on the monitor of The Detector. It makes counterfeit detection easier and more accurate. For example: New Euro banknotes are printed in different European countries. Despite the uniform standard, each banknote in circulation has traces of the different print houses. IR Marks are incorporated for Euro according to a special card map which allows the cashier to draw a correct conclusion on the authenticity of a banknote.

A new optical method of verifying banknotes
using (IR) infra-red technology

The built in (IR) infra-red camera and monitor will detect reflective and non-reflective inks used in printing Canadian, US banknotes, Euros, and other worldwide currencies. These banknotes are printed with two or more types of inks (this method of printing is common in the industry but generally unknown).

How it Works:

The section of the genuine bank note printed with non reflective ink will disappear when bill is viewed on the monitor. Counterfeit bills will appear differently on the monitor.
